‘Paperbush’: A deciduous, bushy shrub originating from China, growing 1.2-2m tall. Dense, nodding terminal clusters of yellow, fragrant flowers, which are covered with white, silky hairs on the outside, open in late winter and early spring, followed by narrowly oval leaves. Oftern used in Japan for the manufacture of high class paper for currency. Plant in all types of moist, well drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. Hardness rating H4.
