‘Japanese Aralia’ A medium to large sized handsome shrub of spreading habit. The polished, large dark green palmate leaves have a subtropical appearance. Panicles of milk-white globular flowerheads appear in October, and are followed by clusters of black fruits which ripen in winter or spring. Excellent for maritime areas. Plant in a sheltered position in well drained moist soils in sun or semi-shade. Hardiness rating H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
