‘Japanese Aralia’ A medium to large sized handsome shrub of spreading habit. The polished, large dark green palmate leaves have a subtropical appearance. Panicles of milk-white globular flowerheads appear in October, and are followed by clusters of black fruits which ripen in winter or spring. Excellent for maritime areas. Plant in a sheltered position in well drained moist soils in sun or semi-shade. Hardiness rating H5.
