Hebe ‘Frozen Flame’

£12.95

Hebe ‘Frozen Flame’ A bushy, compact, mound-forming evergreen shrub between 0.1 and 0.5m high and 0.5-1m spread, with grey-green narrow leaves with creamy-white margins which turn pinkish-purple in cold weather.   Clusters of small, bright blue flowers are borne from June to October, and are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.   This plant grows well in poor to moderately fertile, slightly alkaline to neutral, moist, well drained soils.   Requires little pruning and can withstand frost, but requires to be sheltered from harsh, drying winter winds.   Is an ideal ground cover and suitable for cottage, rock and gravel gardens, and is perfect in beds and borders and pots.   Plant in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H4. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
