Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Lady Mata Hari Blue’ – Part of the Royalty Collection A new variety of hydrangea, a small and compact, deciduous, hardy shrub with glossy green leaves.   The mophead florets bloom in different colours from mauve-blue, pale green and creamy-white on one flower head during summer, so no two blooms are the same.  Thrives in moist fertile acid, alkaline or neutral soils, in full sun or partial shade.   To retain the deepest blue flowers throughout the season we recommend the use of Hydrangea Colourant.   Suitable for planting in pots, baskets and borders.   Remove old flower heads in spring to encourage abundant flowering.   Water frequently.   Hardiness rating H5.
