Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Tiffany Purple’

£34.99

Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Tiffany Purple’ – Part of the Royalty Collection A new variety of hydrangea, a small, deciduous hardy shrub growing up to 1.5m high, with dark green, bronze tinted leaves.   Lace-cap flower heads are produced in summer with clusters of tiny fertile flowers, surrounded by large, bi-coloured purple-blue florets, shading to green and cream which are nearly white in the centre, and flushed and edged with bright pink or violet flowers depending on whether the pH of the soil is alkaline or acid.   Plant in sun or partial shade.   Thrives in moist, well drained fertile acid, alkaline or neutral soils, in full sun or partial shade.  Suitable for planting in pots, baskets and borders.   Remove old flower heads in spring to encourage abundant flowering.   Water frequently.   Hardiness rating H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
