Jasminum officinale

£16.20

Common jasmine is a fast-growing, highly fragrant climbing plant cherished for its clusters of pure white star-shaped flowers that bloom throughout summer and are sometimes followed by blackish-purple fruits. Its delicate, pinnate leaves and long, flexible stems give it a classic romantic look perfect for cottage gardens, trellises, arches, and pergolas. While not native to the UK, it thrives in most British gardens when given a sunny, sheltered spot and well-drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil. A favourite for scented gardens and wildlife-friendly designs. Hardiness rating H5.

At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.

All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
