Also known as Lavandula angustifolia ‘Grosso’ – Lavender – A robust, evergreen shrub growing up to 90cm tall including flower spikes, with narrow, grey-green foliage.   Very aromatic, mid blue flower heads are produced on long stems, in summer.   Cut back after flowering.   Plant in well drained neutral to alkaline soil, in full sun.   Does not tolerate water logging.  Widely grown commercially for oil.   Hardiness rating H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
