£112.55

Photinia x fraseri ‘Chico’ is a dwarf evergreen shrub up to around 30cm tall and 20cm wide, forming a compact, rounded bush with red stems and glossy, elliptic, dark green leaves, the young leaves emerging reddish bronze.   Panicles of small, creamy-white flowers are produced in spring.   This is an ideal plant for a low hedge or individual plant, and is sometimes also grafted to form a half standard plant.   Plant in moist, well drained acid to neutral soil in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
