Picea abies ‘Little Gem’

Dwarf Norway Spruce:  ‘Little Gem’ is a compact, slow-growing dwarf conifer prized for its perfectly rounded shape and dense, bright-green foliage. Growing only 2–3 inches per year, it forms a tight, cushion-like mound that remains neat without pruning. This low-maintenance evergreen is ideal for rock gardens, small landscapes, borders, containers, and foundation plantings.

Its fine texture and tidy form provide year-round structure and interest, while its exceptional hardiness makes it suitable for a wide range of climates. ‘Little Gem’ prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained acid to neutral soil.   Hardiness rating H7.
