Lily of the Valley shrub: A medium sized, bushy evergreen shrub, 'Mountain Fire' has bright red young bracts emerging in spring, which turn coppery-green and finally a deep glossy, chestnut brown. Beautiful, pure white flowers are borne in branched panicles in mid spring. Plant in moist, well drained acid loam in full sun or partial shade. Hardiness rating H5.
