Cherry Laurel , Common Laurel - A bushy, large growing evergreen, excellent for hedging or game coverts, with large, dark green leathery leaves. Very attractive in April when erect racemes of small, white flowers appear, followed by cherry-like red fruits which soon turn black. Plant in full sun or partial shade, in moist well drained soil. Hardiness rating H5.
