'Myrtifolia’ -Portugal Laurel - A very hardy, magnificent, evergreen shrub or small tree with large, polished, bright green leaves, reddish when unfolding. Hawthorn scented white flowers in long, slender racemes are produced in June, followed by small red fruits which turn dark purple. Plant in full sun or partial shade, in moist, fertile, well drained soil. Hardiness rating H5.
