Sweet box: An evergreen shrub of bushy habit, up to 2m, with deep green, glossy, wavy ovate leaves up to 3-5cm in length. Very sweetly scented, creamy white flowers appear in winter, followed by glossy black berries. Attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. Plant in all types of moist, well drained soil, in full or partial shade. Hardiness rating H5.
