A compact, rounded, evergreen shrub, with leathery, elliptical green leaves, growing between 0.5 and 1m high.  Dense panicles of white buds are produced in autumn, opening in March and April into small, star-shaped creamy white flowers, which are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.   Plant in shade or semi-shade in moist, well drained acid or neutral soil.   Hardiness rating H5.

At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.

All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
