A deciduous, compact, bushy shrub growing up to 75cm in height.   The young leaves open reddish-orange in spring, becoming bright yellow, and then eventually green.   Deep rose-red flowers are borne in clusters during summer.   Plants in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun or semi-shade.   Hardiness rating H6.
