trachelospermum jasminoides ‘Star of Toscane’

Trachelospermum jasminoides ‘Star of Toscane’ A vigorous, woody, evergreen climber with narrow, oval, glossy green leaves which often turn to a bronze colour in winter, growing up to 9m in height.   Creamy star-shaped sweetly scented flowers which mature to a soft yellow, are produced throughout the summer, and are attractive to bees and other pollenating insects.   This plant is ideally suited to being grown against a warm, sunny wall, and can be pruned annually to keep it to a manageable height.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H4. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
