Laurustinus - A medium to large sized shrub of dense, bushy habit, producing masses of dark glossy green leaves, and one of the most popular evergreens. Flattened clusters of pink-budded white flowers appear continuously from autumn to early spring, followed by ovoid, metallic-blue, and finally black fruits. Makes an attractive informal hedge or individual specimen. Will tolerate shade and succeeds well in coastal areas. Plant in full sun, shade or partial shade, in moist well drained soil. Hardiness rating H4.
