Also known as 'Alexandra' - An easily grown, deciduous shrub, of dense, spreading habit up to 1.8m tall, with deep bronze to red-purple leaves, which become deep purple in autumn. Clusters of reddish-pink, tubular shaped flowers are borne in late spring and early summer. Thin out and cut back old flowering shoots to a few centimetres of the old wood after flowering. Plant in all types of moist, well drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. Hardiness rating H6.
