Ilex ‘Nellie Stevens’ Half Standard

Ilex ‘Nellie R. Stevens’ Holly - A small, ornamental, evergreen tree up to around 8m, with oblong-elliptic, spiny, blackish-green leaves up to 7.5cm long.   This female plant produces white flowers in early summer, followed by profuse orange-red berries in autumn, where there is a male pollinator nearby.   Plant in all types of moist, well drained soil, in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H6.
