Liquidambar sty. ‘Worplesdon’ 6/8cm girth

£72.00

Sweet Gum - A beautiful, large, deciduous tree with rich green leaves with long narrow lobes, turning to shades of orange and yellow in autumn. The insignificant flowers, produced in late spring, are often followed by spiky fruit capsules in autumn. In winter the corky bark of the older twigs are a feature. Plant in moist, well drained soils, but avoid chalk. Plant in full sun or partial shade. Drought resistant. Hardiness rating H6. We would advise that you will also need a stake, tie and Mona Relief watering system with this tree. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock. As this is a large tree we will only be able to arrange delivery for post codes within a 50 mile radius of NG13 8JA.   Please call 01949 21402 for a delivery charge quotation.
