Magnolia praecox half standard

Magnolia grandiflora praecox A magnificent, hardy, evergreen tree or large shrub, with dark green, glossy, leathery leaves up to 25cm long.   Very fragrant, cup-shaped, cream flowers up to 30cm wide, are produced in late summer and autumn.   Benefits from regular pruning to maintain its shape and encourages prolific flowering.    Regular watering is essential during the first season and until the plant has established.  Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H5.
