Christmas Berry ‘Robusta Compacta’ – a strong growing, large evergreen shrub, with thick, leathery, oblong leaves.   Young growths emerge brilliant coppery-red in spring, later turning dark green.   Panicles of white flowers are borne in summer.   One of the hardiest Photinia clones. Ultimate height 1.5-2.5m.    Plant in moist, well drained acid/neutral soils, in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H6. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
