£70.25

Rowan - A small deciduous tree with erect habit when young, broadening somewhat with age. Dark, glossy green leaves with 7-8 pairs of toothed leaflets, which turn red-orange with hints of purple in autumn. Abundant clusters of white flowers are carried in corymbs in May and June, followed by numerous clusters of large berries which turn to a vibrant golden yellow in mid to late summer, much appreciated by birds. This is an excellent small garden tree. Plant in full sun or partial shade, in moist, well drained loam, but avoid clay or chalk. Hardiness rating H6.
