Acanthus mollis ‘Whitewater’

£24.49

Acanthus mollis ‘Whitewater’ Bear’s breeches:  An herbaceous perennial growing up to 1.5m high, with deeply cut, large, variegated dark green leaves which are covered with white splashes.   Erect flower stems carry white, funnel-shaped flowers with hood-like purple bracts.  This plant is easy to grow, requiring little care and is ideal as a cut flower, and is also striking as a dried flower arrangement.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
