Chocolate cosmos: A beautiful tuberous, clump forming perennial up to 50cm high, with deeply lobed, mid-green leaves. Large, very dark, maroon-red flowers are carried on upright stems from June to September. The flowers have a rich, chocolate scent throughout the summer. Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun. Hardiness rating H3.
