Chocolate cosmos: A beautiful tuberous, clump forming perennial up to 50cm high, with deeply lobed, mid-green leaves. Large, very dark, maroon-red flowers are carried on upright stems from June to September. The flowers have a rich, chocolate scent throughout the summer. Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun. Hardiness rating H3. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
