Gaillardia x grandiflora ‘Arizona Red Shades’

Gaillardia x grandiflora ‘Arizona Red Shades’ Blanketflower:  A compact, bushy, semi-evergreen perennial growing up to around 30cm high, with bright green foliage.    Large, daisy like dark red flowers up to four inches across, are borne on short, upright stems from early summer to early autumn, and are attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.   The compact habit makes it an ideal plant for borders and containers.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun.   Drought resistant.   Hardiness rating H5.
