Christmas rose:  This is an early flowering perennial hellebore, forming a clump of semi-evergreen shallowly lobed, glossy dark green leaves.   The bowl-shaped white flowers are sometimes flushed green, with pale yellow centres, and are carried on upright stems in late winter or spring, and are attractive to bees.   Plant in well drained alkaline or neutral soil in partial shade.   Hardiness rating H4. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
